Scottsman Lang is probably best recognized as the Victorian anthologist who compiled a charming, chromatically-named and seemingly endless series of fairy-tale collections--The Blue Fairy Book, The Green Fairy Book, The Lilac Fairy Book, and so on and on . . . .
