Empire Notes is a blog from Bagdad (at least until April 25) by Rahul Mahajan. Testimony, perhaps, to the usefulness of the internet--something I have serious misgivings about in a general sense--as a journalistic medium.

The photomosaic image below, composed of photographs of the faces of American soldiers killed in Iraq, is pretty close to stunning. And the point isn't really the number of faces.
